Britwell United1 Real Milan 2
In a very keenly fought match, with both sides giving 110%, it was Real Milan who took their few chances available to emerge with the 3 points. Played in a very sporting, but fiercely contested manner, Chris Zuber enhanced his growing reputation with the winning goal and the Man Of The Match Award, with an all action display that won praise from both sides.
Both teams got off to an attacking start with the defenders having to be sharp to keep out the lively forwards. On 20 minutes Reals No.7 Kyle Lucas capitalized on some defensive hesitancy to wiggle free and place a fine shot pass the advancing Britwell 'keeper to put Milan in front. Five minuted later it could have been two when Lucas's fine chip just went over the bar.On 30 minutes The Whites went futher ahead following fine work from Scott Lawrie,Zuber caused panic in the box, which lead to a richochet, which beat the unlucky United 'keeper.
Just when it looked like Real would take control, a beautifully struck fre kick put United back in the game right on the stroke of half time.
The second half saw much the same as the first. Real trying to kill the game off and Britwell doing all they could to get an equalizer. For Real, Amadou Samba,Karim Usmani,Lewis Martin, and ''The Zube'' all had fine games. Renaldo showed great commitment when he came on and done himself no harm for next week. For Britwell Stephen Ford showed some classy touches Kieran Dunne is a fine defender and they are going to surprise a few teams before the seasons out.
Milan without Luke Thorpe and Daryll Storey, need to be on better form next week if they are to get a result against Uxbridge.
