Real Milan 1 Burnham Yellows 0

A Scott Lawrie special after 3 minutes was enough to give Real Milan all three points in a game of few real chances. Real got off to a great start, when Nysha rode a few tackles before playing in Chris Zuber. His wide pass found the advancing Lawrie, who from out side of the area clipped a superb shot over the Yellows 'keeper. Further better opportunities were then wasted, as Milan struggled to maintain a fluent rhythm.
The second half saw Yellows belief grow stronger but their best chance to score was hastily
sliced wide. When they did break through they found Matty Page, Jack Evans, Amadou Samba and 'keeper Lee Bennett in formidable form, and it was they who carried Milan to victory.
Debutant striker Gerti Muller (above) came on at half time and fashioned a few chances, and Kyle Lucas added guile to the attack when he was introduced on 60 minutes.
Real are running out of time to fine top form. It was another clean sheet, the seventh of the season, but they need to step up a gear and quickly, if they are to maintain their championship challenge. Yellows were a well organised, disciplined team who battle for the whole 90 minutes. With more of a cutting edge up front they would be top three.
Man of the Match was the hard working Jack Evans , who also provided some top drawer passes for his forwards.
