Real Milan 1 West Drayton 3

.............Same old story...........

Yet again Real Milans killer touch in front of goal proved the difference between victory and defeat. West Drayton were a much improved team to the one that Real put 13 past in the previous 2 meetings. They were well organised at the back, defended well and crucially took their chances in front of goal.
Real found themselves two goals down at half time, and it was probably the right scoreline, as Milan went to sleep at critical periods. But the second half was non stop Real pressure with the whites having 9 corners to West Draytons 1 and at least a dozen attempts at goal. Poor finishing and lack of composure, combined with good defending, contributed to Reals defeat.
Josh Lakes 20yd piledriver looked to have brought Milan back into the game with 20 minutes left. but the 'Yellows' broke away 10 minutes later and scored with their only shot on goal in the second half.
For Real, three players stood out. The hard working Renaldo never gave up, Karim Usmani playing only his second game ever at centre half gave a mature, solid performance. And Ricky Wheeler, was back to his determined best.
Once again for all Real Milans dominance, its goals that win matches and Real had better get back to scoring,..and soon.
