Real Milan 6 Taplow United 0

Real Milan finished the month off with a fine win against Taplow United who were minus their 2 usual forwards. The hard working Victor Ocansey was Man Of The Match but Nysha and half time sub Luke Thorpe had excellent games. Josh Lake opened the scoring on 10 minutes with a deft right foot lob . Five minutes later Danny O'Sullivan then volleyed the goal of the game from outside the area following a half cleared corner. The Division 3 champions fell further behind when Real top scorer Lake fired in an angled shot in to the far corner just before the half time break. Luke Thorpe made it four with a great right foot shot, and Daryll Storey got his seventh goal in four games with a left foot shot on the turn. Another left foot shot from Thorpe completed the scoring to make it six. Stephen Ford came closest for United with a free kick that flew narrowly over and his fine second half run and shot was miraculously cleared off the line but the never-say-die Amadou Samba.
Kevin Long continues to get better and had a great second half, Karim Usmani ran his socks off. Jordan Pritchard is returning to form. Lewis Martin was his usual reliable self when he came on. Chris Zuber out for most of last year had a great game and looked comfortable at centre half.
Special word for Real 'Keeper Lee Bennett who kept his 3rd clean sheet in 5 games.
Many thanks to the Referee who did a first class job.
Scott Lawrie, Ashley Kang, Sam Haggerty, Harley McAuley and Tom Emery were absent from todays squad.
Burnham Whites are the visitors on Sunday (Kick Off 12.00 Noon) and Real will need to be on their top form to get any kind of result.

More Pictures From Visit

When Uri Met Nysha

When Real Milan President Uri Geller heard about the teams recent new signings, he immediately arranged for them to visit him at his Berkshire mansion. ''They're great lads'' he said ''I think they're going to do very well for us this season''. Uri was surprised when Daryll Storey, Real's electric winger, produced a massive spoon for him to bend. But Daryll was stunned when Uri managed to successfully bend it, using his famous mind power.
Amadou's verdict was simply ''Awesome!''. Earlier Uri spent time getting to know the names and spent time talking with Zimbabwean born Nysha who said ''His house is brilliant, and he's a really friendly guy, he was talking to me about when he bought Elvis's house''.

Real Milan 2 Burnham Blues 1

In a thrilling game, Real Milan came from behind to record probably their best result in their short 11 month history. Daryll Storey got both the goals with his best performance in a Milan shirt. Real played 7 players from the recent 10-1 Cup defeat against Burnham Blues which made the result extra special. After a goalless first half with Real on top, the talented Burnham side came out second half the sharper. And after 15 minutes of the second period, following a fine dribble a Burnham forward fired home from close range to put Blues ahead.
Real came back quick and following an outswinging Renaldo corner on the left Victor Ocansey leapt highest and glanced it goalwards for Storey to fire home at the back post. 10 minutes later it was Storey again rifling home a rebound from an Ocansey shot. Lee Bennett produced an impressive Man Of The Match display dealing comfortably with everything The Blues threw at him. His handling and positioning were first class throughout. At the back Karim Usmani and Amadou Samba were solid and reliable. Jack Evans and Ricky Wheeler did excellent in the "Makelele" role, and Chris "The Zube" Zuber who missed most of last season with an injury, is fast becoming an excellent player and never lets the side down. The ever busy Danny O'Sullivan had a great game, first on the right wing and then up front. A quality O'Sullivan throughball to Ocansey nearly made it 3-1. Renaldo had a great game also, some of his passing was of the highest standard. Full backs Lewis Martin and Nysha had excellent games. Luke Thorpe was sharp and was always a threat with his direct running. Scott Lawrie was probably MotM first half, but didnt get enough service in the second.
A Great team performance.

Real Milan 8 Iver 0

Real Milan continued there rich vein of form with a thrilling 8-0 win against a plucky Iver side.
Victor Ocansey claimed his second hat-trick in three games and Daryll Storey got his first hat-trick ever. Man of the Match Scott Lawrie scored one and Harley McAuley came off the bench to score the other with his first touch. Thats seven goals in three games for Victor who was taken off for most of the second half. Amadou Samba, captain in Jordans absence, was also rested 2o minutes from time, to allow the fast improving Chris Zuber another run out. Top performers for Milan were Karim Usmani, Daryll Storey and Scott Lawrie. Jack Evans and Danny O'Sullivan worked extremley hard and selflessly for the team.
Ricky Wheeler played his first game for over a month and looked comfortable in defence. Real again made over 12 substitutions which disrupted their flow at times.
Ashley Kang, Sam Haggerty, Tom Emery and Josh Lake were the other absentees.

Well Done Luke!

It was a good few days for Reals new forward Luke Thorpe. Sunday he earnt the Man Of The Match award and thursday he scored his first ever goal for the club.
Injured Harley McAuley came along to present his award.

Real Milan 3 Taplow Boys 1

Real Milan continued their fine post season form with a good win against a talented Taplow Boys side. Real got off to a fine start on 8 minutes when Victor Ocansey fired home to put Milan 1-0 up. 15 minutes later, a fine Tom Emery run enabled Luke Thorpe to take advantage and he curled a sweet right foot shot into the corner to increase the lead. Amadou Samba and Chris Zuber had to work overtime to keep Taplows dangerous Jordan Lee Brown from getting a goal back. In the second half he came close on a few occasions but Samba was always there to clear the danger. With fifteen minutes left a vicious Ocansey free kick was touched home by Daryll Storey to increase Reals lead to three goals. A late Taplow goal ensured a hectic finish to the match but on the day Milan were worthy winners.
Lewis Martin was captain for the day on his 14th birthday and Amadou Samba was Man of the Match. Raj made a 10 minute appearance in the second half and did very well.
Real were without Josh Lake, Ashley Kang, Ricky Wheeler and Harley McAuley

Nine Goal Real Win Friendly

Real Milan set a new club goalscoring record yesterday when they beat an experimental Burnham Yellows team 9-0. Victor Ocansey fired a hat-trick in the first 25 mins of his debut and went on to score a fourth later on. Fellow striker Josh Lake also grabbed a hat-trick and Ashley Kang and Danny O'Sullivan completed the scoring. Man Of The Match was another debutant, the hard working Luke Thorpe. Amadou Samba brought some much needed class to the centre of defense and Lee Bennett was very competent in goal.
Burnham Yellows were trying out new players and Milan would be wise to not read too much into the result. But after last weeks 10-1 thrashing by Burnham Blues Real were happy to get back to winning ways'
Real must not be over confident as they face a stronger test against Division 2's Taplow Boys on Wednesday evening.

7 Goal Jaden Destroys Real In Cup

Burnham Blues 10 Real Milan 1
Real Milan were knocked out of the Observer Cup at the quarter final stage yesterday by rampant Burnham Blues at the Cherry Orchard.
Jaden Walker Burnhams prolific forward banged home SEVEN goals, and Daryll Storey netted a late concelation for Real. Man Of The Match was Kevin Long, and Danny O'Sullivan produced a wonder save when he deputised in goal.
It was a disappointing end to the season for Real Milan and probably their worst team performance. But with SIX new players about to join, the future looks brighter for next season.
