Real Milans New Arrival!

Warmest congratulations from all the Players, Parents and Supporters to Tariq and Trish on the birth of little Cian a little brother for Shannon. Already a better dribbler than Josh and with more sense than Victor, he's a valuable addition to the Milan Squad. If things go to plan he should appear for Real Milan in 2017.

Uxbridge's Robbie Chandler's Game Analysis....

Uxbridge Skilful Midfielder Robbie Chandler Gives His Expert Opinion On Yesterdays Title Clash.

"Real came to us coming off the back of a great run.We knew it would be a tough match and that Real are a hard working side. We set out to attack the game. But as the game moved on Milans quick passing of the ball made it difficult to get our men behind the ball and attack as we were playing only one lone striker, Andrew Martin who came up with the goods for us with a goal. When Milan equalized we knew we had to 'up' our game. After a bit of luck with a penatly decision, we believed we would ease to victory. But that was not the case as Milan pressured us right until the final whistle."

Also Special Mention to Dean Lewis Keeper/Captain who was an inspiration to our team.

Uxbridge goal scorers: James Webb, Andrew Martin, Joe Freeman.

Man of the Match: Robbie Chandler

Uxbridge Park Rangers 3 Real Milan 1

Real Milans' season went as flat as last Tuesdays pancakes, as a hungrier Uxbridge side, out battled Milan to take all three points and put themselves back into the title race.
Reals preparations went into a tailspin when first Nysha and then Kyle, failed to show. Renaldo then pulled out injured at last moment. With Gerti arriving at the kick off this was hardly the way to prepare for such an important match. With no subs to call on, Milan surprisingly made the better start with Luke Thorpe putting in some dangerous crosses and Josh Lake and Gerti having shots well saved by Rangers 'keeper Dean Lewis. Against the run of play, from an Uxbridge corner, the half cleared ball fell invitingly to James Webb who gratefully thumped home the opener Milan were stung into action, and within 5 minutes Josh Lake, playing his first full game of the season, controlled a loose ball and rifled a shot on the turn into the corner of the net to equalise However ,within 1o minutes, Uxbridge went back in front with a fantastic shot from an Andrew Martin freekick, that Milan stopper Lee Bennett could do nothing about.
The second half saw UPR come straight out onto the attack, but Amadou Samba, Matty Page and Bennett were throwing themselves in front of the ball with last ditch tackles. The third goal when it came, was a hotly disputed penalty struck to the goalies right by Joe Freeman but nobody could deny Uxbridge deserved a third.
It looked curtains for Real but thanks to the inspirational talisman and captain, and probably the best player in the division, the awesome Amadou picked up his whole team and wrung every last effort out of his tiring team mates to leave Uxbridge hanging on for the last 15 minutes. But despite a couple of Lake efforts and Lee Bennett just hooking wide from a corner, Milan left it too late to salvage anything from the game.....and possibly the season.
The XI chosen did there best but some players level of committment this season must surely be questioned.
Man of the Match Amadou Samba

Burnham Whites 3 Real Milan 3

Real Milan and Burnham Whites served up a Sunday treat in what was one of the best matches of the season. Real, without Four first team regulars, caught Burnham cold by storming the home teams goal straight from the kick off. Twice in the opening few minutes Milan striker Gerti Muller was clean through but failed to find the target. Slowly Whites started put their game together and on 22 minutes Burnham striker Joe Lowden broke through the Milan defense to fire the hosts into the lead. It didn't take long for Real to get on level terms and following great work from Jack Evans and the ever impressive Stewart Challis, Victor Ocansey found himself in on goal and his composed cool finish left the Burnham goalie with no chance.Five minutes before half time a mix up in the Milan defense was severely punished by the prolific Craig Elliott, who gratefully poked the loose ball put the dispairing dive of 'keeper Lee Bennett. At half time Milans lost discipline from percieved wrong decisions cost them from the moment the second half began. A corner 3 minutes in was delicately flicked home at the near post by the incoming Ashfield and the pink-booted maestro put the Whites 3-1 ahead. Captain Amadou Samba was not going down without a fight.Leading by example he draggedhis team mates out of their slump and inspired them to greater efforts. Ocansey bursting through the offside trap let rip a rocket into the corner to bring the score to 3-2. Real sacrificed Jack in midfield to bring the reclusive Josh Lake into attack. It paid off. With the minutes ticking away Real piled forward and out of nothing Ocansey fired another fine goal to bring Milan back on level terms. At the death,' keeper Bennett produced a fantastic save to his left to keep the point safe. Both Managers agreed a draw was the right score but the result puts Burnham in pole position to win the title.Milan now have to hope the Whites drop points if they're to succeed.
For Milan, Amadou was fantastic throughout and Lee was again on top form. Nysha won the Man of the Match for his work rate and determination. Renaldo continues to improve and also provided some great passing.

Next stop Uxbridge.
Line Up: Bennett, Martin, Samba, Page, Challis, Evans(Lake 60), Ocansey, Nysha, Thorpe, Gerti, O'Sullivan (Renaldo).

Luke and Chris Win Players of the Month

Congratulations to Luke Thorpe and Chris Zuber, two of the most deserving Players of the Month we've had. Both have made amazing transformations in the last few months, from subs bench to first team regulars, by showing superb attitudes. And an inspiration to all of us.
When things were'nt going well, they turned things around by keeping quiet, working even harder, doing the simple things well and listening. Then taken their opportunity when it came. Great work lads!

Harefield United 0 Real Milan 3

Real Milan produced their best performance of the season with a ruthless display against a tough never-say-die Harefield side. Goals from the Player of the Month Luke Thorpe, the mercurial Victor Ocansey, and a first for the club on a his full debut by Gerti Muller, saw Milan ran out comfortable winners. 'Keeper Lee Bennett, back to his Givenesque best, and skipper Amadou Samba produced top quality performances that gave Milan the platform to build a solid confident team display. Left back Stewart Challis was simply magnificent all game in best performance this season. More to follow
